Face to Face With Horses was founded by a horse loving girl with a big dream to help others build the best relationship possible with their horse. This Illinois based horsemanship company always has the horse and human’s best interest at heart. With many years experience and many different disciplines, there is nothing like the strong bond between horse and rider.
Overview:
Create a logo for business cards and marketing materials to expand the reach for new clients.
Problem:
Lack of logo and marketing materials to spread the word of business and services offered.
Opportunity:
Create a simple yet effective logo to bring awareness of services to new and existing clients.
Design Process:
The client was interested in a simple logo to convey their message of “face to face” with horses. My design process wanted to utilize the “face to face” part in creating a human and horse looking at each other. I also wanted to incorporate the horse and human faces in the image and lettering. I decided to use the mane of the horse and the “pony tail” of the person to be part of the letter. I experimented in location of the illustrations and the letterforms. I also played around with color and a smaller design for smaller details.
The Final Product:
The client chose the completely black design over the colored design. The client was super excited with the end result and loved the design.
